Acupressure Points to Enhance Fertility 

For thousands of years, the Chinese have used acupuncture and acupressure points to help heal the body.  By stimulating specific points along the energy channels of the body (meridians), the body responds both physically and energetically.  

Many people scoff at this "energy-stuff," and don't give it a chance.  I use to be one of those people until I saw with my own eyes (and hands) the changes that can occure in a person's body when these energy principals are applied with massage.  I use acupressure almost every day in my general massage practice here in Nashville.  This stuff works.

But you don't have to believe me.  Just try holding a few of these points on yourself and see if you notice a difference.  Below are a few points that are associated with regulating menstrtion and helping with ovulation.  


Inside Leg Points

Spleen 6 is about four finger's width above your inside ankle bone.  Press and hold it gently for about 2-5 minutes.  You may notice that the area softens as you hold it.  If so, gently follow the point in as it softens.

Kidney 4 is about one finger's width behind the inside ankle bone.  Hold it for 2-5 minutes.

Kidney 6 is located half way between your inside ankle bone and your heal.  Find the soft spot in that area and gently hold. 


Outside Leg Points

Gallbaldder 34 is located at about the same level as the crease behind your knee, and just around to the front of your outside leg bone, the fiblua.  Press and hold this area for 2-5 minutes.  Be careful, this area could be tender.

Stomach 36 is located about four fingers width down from the bottom of you knee cap, and about one finger's width to the outside of the shin bone, the tibia.  Press and hold this area.  It sould also be sensative, so be careful with the pressure.

Bladder 61 is located on the outside of your ankle, between your ankle bone and your heal.  Hold this area for 2-5 minutes. 

Abdominal Points

The acupressure points in the abdominal area are along a line straight down from the navel.  The first point, Central Vessel 4, is about four fingers width down from your navel.  The next two points, Central Vessel 3 and 2 are about one finger's width below each other.  Gently press and hold these points for 2-5 minutes.  These points might be tender, so don't press hard.  Allow your mind to relax and let the energy flow down into these points.
